Making Dances

MAKING DANCES is a prolonged playshop experience, directed to youngsters and young adults aged 13 to 20 years old with a specific interest in creative expression of own ideas. During this playshop participants will dive into the world of contemporary dance choreography and direction, discover the language of the body and have an opportunity to create their own first dance (theatre) concepts. With a lot of fantasy, improvisation and composition exercises, participants will create their own pieces and their own hype. Out of nothing, out of themselves, their potentials, their soft spots, their affinities, preferences, desires, together we will find inspiration for our very own little master pieces. In the course of one week (duration of this playshop is imagined in minimum 5 x 3 hour sessions), playshop leader will, together with the participants, look for stories within the bodies and how to stage them in a perfect way.
