Three people, building materials, and no finished plan: what can emerge from this?
A space for play and building begins to unfold — a space that keeps changing again and again. Things are carried, shifted, held, abandoned and tried anew. Sometimes something holds. Sometimes everything wobbles. And sometimes, a new idea grows out of the wobble.
WHAT WE BUILD – Construction Site for a Healing World is a dance performance about dialogue between generations, hope, and the utopia of a better world that can emerge through shared creation. Inspired by Oliver Jeffers’ picture book, three performers meet: two dancers from different generations and a musician. Rhythm becomes movement, silence becomes tension, and music becomes material that shapes the space. The stage feels like a walk-in sketch — fragile, changeable and full of possibilities. What is being built is not only an object, but relationships: between bodies, generations, materials and visions of the future.
